This Privacy Policy explains how Nirmata Vision Media Player ("we") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Nirmata Vision and the nirmatavision.app dashboard.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your email address and an encrypted password (authentication handled by our backend provider, Supabase).
- Device information: a device identifier, device brand/model, app version, available storage, IP address, and an approximate location derived from your IP, plus any ZIP/postal code you enter for local weather.
- Media configuration: the server URL, username, and password for the media service you choose to connect — stored so we can sync your setup across your devices.
- Diagnostics: crash reports and basic playback/diagnostic data used to fix bugs and improve reliability.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (such as subscription status) but do not store your full card number.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to provide and sync the Service across your devices, process subscriptions, provide support, secure the Service and prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that operate the Service on our behalf: Supabase (hosting, database, authentication) and Stripe (payment processing). We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it, subject to legal requirements.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures (including encryption in transit and encrypted storage of sensitive fields) to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@nirmatavision.app. You can also delete devices and cancel your subscription from the dashboard.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. International Users
Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.
9. Cookies & Local Storage
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and operate the dashboard. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
